Vehicle Description
This 1966 Mustang Shelby custom fastback GT350 is powered by a
289ci engine mated to a 4-speed manual Toploader transmission. It
features stainless steel fuel lines, quick-ratio power steering,
KONI shocks, Kelsey Hayes 4-piston disc brakes, factory air
conditioning, under-ride traction bars, Shelby-modified upper
a-frames and trumpet exhaust. Finished in Candy Apple Red base
coat/clear coat with painted-on white stripes and correct GT350
Plexiglas rear quarter windows. The car features a Shelby wood
steering wheel, Cobra 9,000 rpm tachometer, fold-down rear sports
seat, AM/FM radio and functional side brake vents. The
undercarriage is painted with red oxide. It has a factory-optional
4-way flasher, steel hood, tinted windows, 17-inch Cobra-style
wheels with KO spinners and factory air that blows cold. The glove
box was signed by Carroll Shelby.
