Vehicle Description
This 1968 Ford Mustang Eleanor Tribute Edition is an officially
licensed and certified Eleanor build with genuine Eleanor
certification paperwork, Eleanor body VIN plate and emblems issued
by Gone in 60 Seconds LLC. This 1968 Resto-Mod Mustang fastback
coupe conversion received a complete rotisserie restoration and has
only 350 test miles since completion. The body began with a clean
and rust-free bare metal and was carefully reassembled. It has all
the movie-correct Eleanor body modifications and accessories. This
example was designed and created to be a perfect blend between the
iconic Eleanor styling and an updated and modern driveline for
improved performance built under the highest scrutiny. Underneath
the distinctive Eleanor hood sits a second-generation 5.0-liter
Coyote V8 engine coupled to a TREMEC TKO 5-speed manual
transmission and cooled by a Be Cool high-performance aluminum
radiator. The engine is fitted with an aggressive-sounding custom
exhaust system that exits through the side rockers. It has an
entire custom modern suspension and chassis, including independent
coilover front suspension, tubular front subframe, front sway bar,
tubular front and lower control arms, tubular upper tower
reinforcement, subframe connectors, aluminum driveshaft, Wilwood
disc brakes on all corners, drilled and slotted rotors,
professionally fabricated Ford 9-inch rear end with 4-link rear
suspension (all powder-coated), QA1 aluminum double adjustable
coilovers front and rear, and rolls on beefy Eleanor-style American
Racing wheels with high-performance tires. Professionally finished
in Pepper Gray Metallic two-stage PPG exterior paint along with
rich black rally body stripes and multiple layers of clear coat
over the top. Show-ready LED lighting is featured in the interior
cabin, engine compartment and chassis area. It comes with complete
Eleanor certification and a 30x40-inch professionally assembled
"Gone in 60 Seconds" framed official movie poster.
