This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro custom coupe was completely stripped and
underwent a rotisserie restoration. It has an Electric Blue finish
and the undercarriage and frame are finished in Satin Black. Power
comes from a new LS3 L99 fuel-injected V8 crate engine mated to a
T56 6-speed manual transmission and a 9-inch rear end narrowed with
a new center section, axles, 4.10 posi-traction and gears. Equipped
with an upgraded Hot Cam; high-flow LS3 heads; large-diameter
throttle body; custom-tuned, large polished 4-core radiator with
electric fans; and a fuel-injected tank with a high-volume fuel
pump. Stopping power is provided by Wilwood 6-piston calipers in
front and 4-piston calipers in the rear, with slotted and
cross-drilled rotors and the parking brake tied into rear rotors.
This Resto-Mod sits on a Chassisworks custom front subframe, with
aluminum control arms and coilover shocks, Art-Morrison 4-link rear
suspension with coilover shocks and rack & pinion steering with a
custom tilt steering wheel. Additionally, a Detroit Speed Mini Tub.
The one-off, custom interior features a custom dash with the door
and side panels wrapped in leather. The front has RECARO-type
custom bucket seats. The interior also features power windows, a
Vintage Air system, an Alpine 6-speaker amplifier and a subwoofer
with an iPod connection stereo system. The trunk is upholstered and
finished with a battery compartment. It rides on custom and one-off
American Legend wheels with Nitto G2 tires.
