Vehicle Description
This custom 1968 Ford F-250 factory crew cab 4-wheel-drive pickup
underwent a complete frame-off restoration. It is powered by a 1994
12-valve P-Pump 6-cylinder Cummins diesel engine producing 190hp
with a second-gen turbo and manifold backed by a 2002 NV5600
6-speed manual transmission. Equipped with a new external electric
diesel pump with remote fuel filter, a frame-mounted 35-gallon Ford
fuel tank, new clutch, pressure plate and throw-out bearing as well
as a new water pump, alternator, idler, new '98 model transfer case
and a new 4-inch exhaust with MBRP mufflers. Additionally, the
front and rear axles were rebuilt including new brakes, lines,
hoses and master cylinder. The engine is cooled by a new radiator
with a high-flow electric fan and thermostat. It sits on a 3-inch
body lift and rolls on 20-inch XD wheels. Finished in a semi-gloss
black, the exterior features a matching grille, trim and bumpers as
well as a spray-in bed liner and new OE cab clearance lights were
added. The interior features 2015 Ford F-250 seats with new Katzkin
Bourbon-scrolled leather with power ports, a custom-stitched dash
pad, door panels, headliner and new door regulators. Additional
features include a new air conditioning system complete with a new
compressor and condenser, along with a new reproduction '68 Ford
color-matched steering wheel, new gauges and speedometer and a
rebuilt column with new wiring and ignition switch and a
vintage-style Bluetooth radio.
