For Sale: 1934 Ford Roadster in Greenwich, Connecticut

Vehicle Description


This 1934 Ford Roadster has been with the seller for 15 years and underwent a rotisserie restoration between 2008 and 2011. Power is providedby a 221ci Ford flathead V8 backed by a 3-speed manual transmission. Features include a vacuum wiper, an original Ford radio, a hydrostatic fuel sending unit and gauge, a rear-mounted spare tire, a folding convertible top, and driving lights. Finished in black with tan vinyl interior with a tan convertible top, this 1934 Ford Roadster comes from the seller with a clear Connecticut title in the seller's name. 

The vehicle went through a rotisserie restoration using original and/or period-correct parts and materials from 2008 to 2011. The body was refinished in black with red beltline stripes by Black Horse Automotive Services in Connecticut. Features include chrome bumpers, amber front driving lights, a four-piece hood, a folding tan convertible top with a glass rear window, a rumble seat, and a rear-mounted spare tire cover. Chrome features include dual horns, grille, headlight housings, cowl lamp housings, a tilt-out windshield, and dual taillight housings.

A set of red wire wheels with chrome center caps is wrapped in whitewall bias-ply tires.

The front bench seat and a rumble seat were upholstered in tan vinyl during the restoration.

A 90-mph speedometer is flanked by fuel and amperage gauges and joined in the center of the dash by another gauge showing kilocycles. With 5K miles added during ownership, the odometer reads 33,722 miles but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown according to the seller.

Power is provided by a 221ci Ford flathead V8 backed by a 3-speed manual transmission. Underhood features include a body-colored firewall, an original intake with a single barrel carburetor, an oil bath air filter, cast-iron exhaust manifolds, and a 6v generator. The seller noted that the water pumps were replaced in 2022.
