Vehicle Description
'55 Chevy's are made for builds like this and if you've never seen
"American Graffiti" or "Two Lane Blacktop" you need to put them on
your must-see movie list. The same '55 appeared in both of those
movies and lit the fuse for many to build one just like it. Gasser
or Pro Street, it's a blank canvas for freedom of expression and
the beautiful example we have here hits the nail on the head with a
classic touch. Call Terry (952) 451-2104 with any questions you may
have. See the video https://youtube.com/watch?v=Z1X5zivzRiA.
INTRO/HISTORY: The '55 210 Post is the drag racer's choice known
for its rigidity. This one is built for cruising whether you are
rumbling to the show or heading for the drag strip. No fancy dated
graphics here, it's done up in classic twotone traditional, but
underneath beats the heart of a ground pounder capable of tattooing
the pavement with tire smoking abandon at will. All you need is a
Supercharged Big Block, tubs big enough to fill up the rear wheel
wells with some extra-wide rubber, add a roll cage and you're good
to go. Clean and clear title. EXT: - Two-tone Orange & Cream - Weld
alloy wheels on big & littles - Mildly tubbed rear wheel wells -
Perfect stance and proportion - Vintage Minnesota license plate -
Classic jet airplane hood ornament - Fit and finish are very nice
INT: - Racing seats w/ harnesses - Roll cage w/ room for a back
seat - Power steering and power brakes - B&M shifter - Bel Air
aluminum dash trim - Jegs racing tachometer - Under dash

Positraction rear end CONDITION: - $5k just spent on maintenance
(see receipts) - Paint & chrome look very nice - Runs strong, idles
with just the right amount of lope - Engine compartment is well
sorted - No evidence of any rust issues - All systems work as
designed - Safety checked and turn-key ready CLOSING: The whir of
the blower and the thunder of a modified Big Block are worth the
price of admission, but as a bonus you get a head-turning piece of
Americana in the form of a deceptively traditional appearing
rolling art form known as the '55 Chevy. Traditional at first
glance until you notice the width of the rear tires and a blower
rising out of the hood. This is a special E-ticket ride and that
"E" does not stand for electric, but rather "Eclectic" which is
what makes a Pro Street build that's done right so much fun.
Experience this one today. NOTES: Our car is a 210 Post with some
Bel Air flavor which is a great choice for this build. VIN plate on
the door jamb. It will read V, if it came with a V-8, then
A=150,B=210, and C=Bel Air. Followed by the model year 55 Source:
150 vs 210 | Chevy Tri Five Forum On ours: the Aluminum dash trim
with Chevy bowties is from a Bel Air. 210's had the Chevrolet
script on the speaker grill like ours and Bel Airs had Bel Air
script on the speaker grill in gold.
