Welcome to Street Dreams as we celebrate our 24th year in the
classic and muscle car business. The Chevrolet Impala has been
produced in many shapes, sizes, and varieties over the course of 7
decades and 10 generations. These full-size cruisers were sold by
the millions, thereby creating countless fond memories and a secure
place in the heart of American car culture. However, as George
Orwell might have said, some Impalas are more equal than others.
Our striking 1963 Impala SS Convertible is a beauty with a beast
inside. Lift the expansive hood and you'll find a legendary and
correct W-series 409 V8 (BCN 3844422) that's been fortified with a
3x2bbl manifold with Rochester carburetors and an aluminum
radiator. Additional features include power steering, power brakes,
power top, air conditioning, 4-speed automatic transmission with
overdrive, 3.36 rear end (BB), console with bucket seats,
tachometer, a newer sound system, and 205/75R14 whitewall tires on
steel wheels with correct SS covers. Driving one of these big
American classics is a unique thrill, greatly enhanced by this
car's torque-rich engine, overdrive transmission, and convertible
top. One of my favorite details on these jewels is the
engine-turned trim on the sides, the rear valence, the console, and
the dash. Cooler than the other side of the pillow! This is fun
driver that attracts lots of attention. Why? Because She's so fine,
my 409! Street Dreams (830-997-1950) is a full service dealership
that can assist with worldwide delivery, insurance, and financing
options.
