Vehicle Description
1951 Mercury Convertible. Rare survivor. Been off the road, and in
garage, since 1967. The most sought after year among 1949, 1950,
1951 Mercs!! Has never been modified, chopped, or altered. Car is
structurally solid, needing minor cosmetic rust repair. Floors are
solid, and in great shape. Convertible top frame assembly is
excellent. Factory hydraulic power steering, power windows, and
power seat. All hydraulic lines and hard-to-find components are
still in car. I've removed seats for photos, but have original
interior components, and hard-to-find convertible stainless trim
moldings. Have grille (like new) and 2 new Gene Winfield lower
quarter panels (49-51 lower quarters were factory bolt-on items).
Rebuilt correct Mercury flathead (only about 5000 miles), and other
components. Car was originally Kerry Blue Metallic (like 2dr coupe
in photo), with blue cloth/leather interior. Don't miss this
opportunity to own one of the most rare, desirable, sought-after
classic cars in American history. Very few remaining that are uncut
and original. Excellent candidate for showcar restoration ( see
black convert pics for inspiration). Please Note The Following
