The conversion vans of the 80's launched a whole new way to travel
for the larger families that loved to take road trips but needed a
more luxurious way of getting to the destination. These companies
would strip apart a stock G20 van from the factory and add and
modify the inside and outside any way you wanted. Leather
seats...check, big screen TV...check, mood lightening...check,
power fold down rear bed...check! The options were endless and the
designs were radical. Companies all over theUSApopped up and
offered the multitude of features and options with their own unique
paint schemes.
Offered here is a 1995 Chevrolet G20 conversion van by Sherrod with
their SLX conversion package. Sherrod was one of the premier
conversion companies in the USA based in Florida. This van is the
highly desirable high-top version that allows a 6ft person to
comfortably stand up inside the van and much more storage space.
This van is nicely appointed with custom exterior graphics and
interior touches that scream the 90's. A small sample of features
include; front and rear A/C and heat, 4 captain chairs, leather
interior, black walnut wood, power folding and adjustable rear
couch/bed, TV, VCR, vacuum, tow package, air compressor, mood
lighting and so much more. Vehicle also has power steering, power
windows, locks, mirrors and doors. Tilt wheel with cruise control
and the power drivers seat gives the driver plenty of style to
cover lots of miles on your next road trip.
Recent service over the past few thousand miles include; new A/C
compressor, recharged A/C system, new tires, fresh oil service and
brakes adjusted. This van recently made a 5k mile trek around the
national parks and never skipped a beat. Vehicle comes with a lot
of manuals for the accessories, owner's manual, some receipts and
original build sheet from Sherrod.
