The Chevy K5 Blazer has been one of Chevy’s most iconic models. The Blazer was first introduced for the 1969 model year as a response to other automakers like Ford who came out with the Bronco a few years earlier. Like the Bronco, the Blazer was meant to be a rugged offroader but was not quite as big as a truck. Chevy kept the original styling of the K5 Blazer for the first few years, but they changed it up to the square body styling for the 1973 model year.
This original 1977 example features that square body styling and being that it is a Cheyenne it showcases many upgraded accents. For the most part this vehicle is very original and has undergone a comprehensive restoration, which included a complete repaint, new wheels and tires, and 2” suspension lift. The exterior of this Blazer is a two-tone paint job that sports the colors: Cardinal Red and White, which are separated by moldings along either side of the vehicle. Besides the repaint, the body is very original as it wears its original sheet metal and features no rust. This vehicle shows about 49,000 miles but total mileage is unknown. This K5 Blazer features the Exterior package, which includes a mainly white hood with colorful stripes that run along either side. The vehicle is powered by its original drivetrain through its numbers matching 350 cubic inch V8 engine that is mated to a TH350 automatic transmission. This results in a comfortable yet powerful ride making this vehicle a perfect candidate for a Sunday drive type of vehicle. What is great about the Blazers are that their tops are removable and being that this is a 1977 model it features the nonremovable roof over the front row. The vehicle sits on upgraded 18” dog dish wheels that are painted white, which are paired with 33” BF Goodrich All-Terrain tires.
Moving to the interior, this vehicle sports a Crimson Red interior that matches well with the red exterior. Upfront one can see the factory bucket seats as well as the factory correct updated red floor carpets. Moving to the dash one can see the multitude of gauges that are surrounded by the wood accents. This Blazer has its factory air conditioning as well as factory AM/FM radio. If you look inside the glovebox, you will find the Service Parts Identification Decal that lists all the factory line items that came with the vehicle. Moving to the second row one can see the bench seat that is in great condition, and behind that is the spare tire holder that securely straps in the spare wheel and tire.

Its original drivetrain and sheet metal are all in good condition, and this goes for the interior as well.
