We are very pleased to offer this trophy winning 1941 Pontiac
Torpedo. This frame off restoration was completed in 1996 by Scott
Mobley in Hamilton, Michigan and features an all original dash,
sheet metal and frame. Looking at the condition of the Chrysler
Claret Red Pearl paint, it has held its shine and quality very well
since then with the shaved trunk and doors with door poppers.
Mechanically, the 2012 GM 350 Create and 350 Turbo 3-speed
automatic transmission perform beautifully together and send power
through the 1993 Camaro 3:42 posi rear end. It has an Edelbrock
intake manifold and 600 cfm carburetor. The electrical system is 12
volt with the HEI GM truck wiring harness. The dual exhaust has a
nice sound. It has a 69 Nova front clip with the power front disc
and rear drum brakes. It has the original 8-leaf parabolic springs
rebuilt by Eaton-Detroit. Other comfort features are power
steering, Vintage Air A/C, and a Kenwood AM/FM/CD player cleverly
hidden in the dash along with the AC controls. The Chrome work on
the vehicle is still nice and shiny and the American Racing wire
basket rims with the P205/70R14 front tires and 235/70R15 in the
rear complete the exterior package. On the interior the metal dash
and trim work and cloth and vinyl seat all looks great with no rips
or tears. All the restoration work is well documented both with
receipts and pictures. This car has an awesome ride and cruises
effortlessly with everything updated underneath. For more
