1967 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible NCRS
Car History
Sometimes you can find a Corvette that has been restored to a
remarkable level such as this 1967 Corvette Convertible we have at
Adventure Classics that has won the coveted NCRS Top Flight Award,
as they say at the NCRS, "Excellence in the Restoration and
Preservation" of this Corvette.
It looks, drives, and handles just like it did when it was brand
new with its #972 white exterior paint, #421 saddle leather
interior, unique wood grain chevy three steering wheel, and a
numbers matching 327 cubic inch-350 horsepower engine with the
4-speed, optioned with power windows and air conditioning.
Engine & Drivetrain
Our Corvette not only has the original numbers matching 327 cubic
inch engine with 350 horsepower V8- L79 engine, mated to the
factory 4-speed manual transmission with power brakes and air
conditioning.
Everything on this restored Corvette looks excellent starting with
the engine and engine compartment. The block is painted in factory
correct bright Chevy Orange paint as well as the heads, correct
factory Corvette script aluminum finned valve covers, aluminum
intake, four-barrel carb, chrome open element air cleaner with the
engine decal, factory Ram's Horn exhaust manifolds leading down to
the exhaust system, factory chrome ignition shielding, with the
engine sitting in a clean, painted, and detailed engine
compartment, all to NCRS specs.
These 1967 Corvettes not only had great straight line performance
but were equally at home handling curves as our Corvette does well
with its period look and has been fitted with thin white sidewall
on Knock-off wheels, and the Corvette will come with the original
Rallye Wheels that goes with the Corvette.
Interior
The factory correct look continues inside where you will see the
correct #421 saddle leather interior with twin bucket seats that
are comfortable, correct, as well as stylish. The twin-cockpit
design has all the factory gauges, a woodgrain Chevrolet 3-spoke
steering wheel, copper colored carpet, matching door panels, and a
center console housing the chrome 4-speed shifter and ball.
Exterior
Our Corvette wears a fantastic code ##972 Ermine white exterior
paint job that is as impeccable as the rest of the Corvette.
This stunning Sting Ray convertible has great bodywork with the
subtly bulging fenders, shiny chrome, the iconic side vents, bright
chrome bumpers, great glass and trim, correct date coded white
convertible top, and nicely polished stainless steel.
It rides and handles just as new as it looks with all the systems
working as they should.
Conclusion
The 1967 Corvette Convertible we have at Adventure Classics is a
NCRS Top Flight Award winner which verifies how great the condition
of the Corvette is in. It is a highly-optioned Corvette having the
#972 white exterior paint, #421 saddle leather interior, numbers
matching 327 cubic inch-350 horsepower engine, 4-speed, power
windows, and air conditioning.
It will be a great Corvette classic to own and enjoy as it will run
and drive as it should with no disappointments.
