1978 Mercedes-Benz 280 SE W116, S/N 11602412114297, Astral Silver metallic with black MB Text interior. Sold new on 8/28/1978 to Layfayette, CA and owned by this gentleman until acquired by a Newport Beach man in 1986, whom we got this wonderful Benz from. The first owner serviced the SE religiously for the 8 years he owned it, enjoying it for 112,000+ miles, always getting the MB maintenance booked stamped by the dealer. Then to Newport and the balance of the miles accrued locally.
