1937 Ford Panel Van V8 - Restored
Fantastic Ford Panel Van in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition, with only 41442 kilometers on the odometer. The van has a fascinating history: The van was sold new in Sweden to the local butcher in the town of Rävemåla. The butcher sold the car to the town's fire and ambulance service about a year after taking ownership, and the van was used as an ambulance. During the war, the local fire and ambulance service requested an engine upgrade, subsequently granted by the Swedish military. The cost for the engine upgrade was 2500 Swedish krone. The car remained locally in Sweden until 1973, when a Danish architect who had recently purchased a farm near Rävemåla purchased the van and drove it back to Denmark. The car was originally blu but was later sold to Tuborg Denmark, who painted the van in Budwiser colors. The car underwent another color change to matt black when it was used in the Danish TV production, Krøniken. The van was later sold and completely restored, including the current color.
The van starts, drives, and stops as it should, and a full inspection and service assure that the car can be enjoyed as-is has been completed. The car passed Danish Technical Inspection (Syn/MOT/TUV) in October 2016. The car has Danish registration papers.
