Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1980 International Scout
II. Finished in copper with a russet plaid interior, this Scout II
remains in remarkably original condition with its original paint
and original "flare" factory graphics intact. Nearly new BF
Goodrich 31x10.50 all terrains on 15-inch alloy wheels are a nice
update. This paint shows considerable patina throughout along with
42 years of normal wear and tear, but remarkably there is no
evidence of accident damage or significant rust.
The interior is completely original and the russet plaid seat
upholstery and doors panels have held up well; steering wheel and
dash are in excellent crack-free condition. Original vinyl floor
covering has normal wear underneath the driver's heel. Original AM
radio is working; status of the brake controller and CB radio are
unknown. All gauges and lights are working as they should.
Under the hood is a 345 cubic inch V8 mated to a TorqueFlite 727
automatic transmission. Although we love the look of a lifted
Scout, nothing drives better than one that's bone stock like this
one - this all-original Scout is one of the best running and
driving trucks we've had. Starts easily and runs smoothly.
