1926 Ford Roadster built by Bob Hindman Roadsters. VIN: T13091554. Ford 292ci Y-Block V8, built by S&S Engines, with 3 Holley 94 carburetors and progressive linkage, sitting on an Edelbrock 3x2 aluminum intake. Upgraded Pertronix ignition. Has a lot of very cool era-correct and vintage pieces. Fenton polished aluminum valve covers, chrome 12V generator, frogmouth air cleaners and very rare, NASCAR exhaust manifolds, feeding into a dual exhaust system with iconic Smithy mufflers. Ford-O-Matic automatic transmission, built by Bob Cruse, with a Lokar shifter, featuring a Black Diamond Brewery tap handle shift knob. Custom, Bob Hindman chassis, built from rectangle tube steel, Z'd 4" front / 14" rear. Transverse leaf spring rear suspension, Lester's Gear Ford 8" rear end with posi-trac. Chrome, Super Bell dropped / drilled front axle with '38 Ford spindles and '48 Ford hubs. Chrome plated backing plates with Buick finned brake drums. Frame-mounted, dual reservoir brake master cylinder. Reversed, Corvair steering box, '48 Ford steering column. Many of the suspension parts and interior components are painted an Apple Green accent color. The Walker radiator is mounted in a '32 Ford grill shell that's been shortened. 10 gallon Spun Aluminum fuel tank. Remote-mounted 12 volt battery with cut-off switch and remote charging posts. Speedway '26 Ford fiberglass body with '50 Pontiac tail lights and a glass windshield, mounted using shortened posts. The paint is matte finish, "Blitz Black" with pinstripe work by legendary artist Ron Myers. The interior features upholstered Bomber seats on a custom birchwood floor (painted Apple Green), '32 Ford dash with Stewart Warner gauges and a Mooneyes tachometer. Front tires are BF Goodrich Silvertown 5.90-15 wide whitewalls on 15x5 chrome reverse wheels. Rear tires are M/T 8.20-15 Radir, nostalgic style, wide whitewall slicks on 15x8 chrome reverse wheels. Runs good, drives right and stops well. Gauges, lights and turn signals work. This is a unique, one of a kind, hot rod that always draws attention. Texas title on hand (titled as 1926 Ford).
