Stunning 1965 mustang FASTBACK 2+2. Beautifully restored with its original 289 V8 rebuilt with Borla 2 1/2 inch long tube headers added and connected to a custom Flow master exhaust system, new Edelbrock AVS 2 650 CFM carburetor and manifold with electric choke connected to its original manual transmission with a new clutch added.
During its restoration Mike Maier adjustable front coil over suspension was added as well as his modified lower control arm and strut rod assemblies with new rear leaf springs and shocks. www.mikemaierinc.com
A beautifully rust free car with many upgrades including being lowered 1 inch, professionally installed panhard bar, Wilwood 6 piston Disc brakes and Wilwood master cylinder with proportioning valve, New discs and pads. The car is fitted with Mini light 17 inch wheels wearing BF Goodrich performer 245/45-17’s on the rear and 225/45-17’s on the front. A new fuel tank and sending unit was added as well as Hush mat throughout the car. It is fitted with a new radiator, new water pump and new hoses, finned alloy valve covers, new chrome, dual chrome side mirrors and a custom front grill.
The white interior is in excellent condition with a custom wooden steering wheel, new seat belts, a tachometer was added as well. It has its original AM radio which is non-functional. The new rear light fixtures on the car are sequential LEDs while the new headlamps are halogen. The original carburetor and manifold are included along with other spare parts and a history of its repair work back to 2005.
