Vehicle Description
CPR Classic is pleased to offer this 2006 Porsche 997 C4S that
shows today in essentially showroom new condition. This example has
had just two owners since new, with the second being the most
long-term. Imagine walking into the dealership in 2006 to see the
new 997 and experiencing the spectacular new models sitting proudly
on the showroom floor. That's the feeling this 997 evokes when you
walk up to it. It has covered just 6,900 miles since new and has
been serviced and cared for to the highest level throughout its
life.
This C4S was delivered new at Princeton Porsche in New Jersey and
sold to its first owner in Maryland, who owned the car from new
until 2013. The vehicle covered just 1,125 miles during this
seven-year span. The car was then sold to its second and most
recent owner in 2013 and housed in Palm Desert, California. The car
spent the last nine years with the second owner and accumulated the
rest of its 6,900 miles on fair weather days.
This 997 is finished in Arctic Silver with a black leather
interior. Silver gauges and a Sport Chrono package with a
color-matched center console round out the interior. The exterior
is essentially flawless with optional Sport Design wheels with
colored crests that provide a wonderful aesthetic.
The car is equipped with a 3.8-liter water-cooled flat-six that
produces 355 horsepower mated to a six-speed manual transmission
that delivers excellent power and is terrific to drive.
This C4S was nicely equipped from the factory to include the
following options:
XME - Centre console painted in car color
X54 - Stainless steel tailpipes
X70 - Stainless steel door entry guards with logo
026 - Silver-faced stopwatch
342 - Seat heating
407 - 19" SportDesign wheels
437 - 12-way electrical seat incl. lumbar support, left
438 - 12-way electrical seat incl. lumbar support, right
446 - Wheel caps with colored Porsche crest
537 - Seat memory, left
575 - Luggage compartment cooling
615 - Navigation DVD North America
640 - Sport Chrono Plus
670 - Navigation module for PCM
The 997, in our opinion, is rapidly becoming a modern classic. The
997 is the last generation of fairly analog 911s with hydraulic
steering racks that provide excellent driver feedback. The 997 is
also the last 911 with a small footprint before the longer
wheelbase GT-focused 991s were introduced. This 997 will provide
its new owner with an as-new experience and is the perfect example
for someone that likes to drive with the top down and prefers a
manual gearbox. Don't miss this stunning C4S.
