1968 FJ40 / Toyota Turbo Diesel Engine Conversion / Disc Brake
Conversion / ARB Airlockers/ Onboard Air Compressor/ Hard Top /
Soft Top For sale is a one-of-a-kind, rough and tumble 1968 Toyota
FJ40 Landcruiser upgraded to a modern fuel injected and
turbocharged 12H-T Toyota diesel engine. The engine conversion was
performed by the venerable Torfab in Everett, WA. Over $25k was
spent on the conversion, and various aftermarket upgrades and
maintenance items. The engine starts instantly with a flick of the
key and runs very well. There is ample power on tap for this nimble
little FJ40 and whatever gear you choose to haul along on your
adventure. I have a full list of all of the upgrades as well as
detailed receipts. Naturally, all things are not perfect, the paint
isn't great, but the body is very straight. There are some signs of
minor rust, but I have not found any evidence of major rot (holes
in floor ect). The gauge cluster also needs attention as not all
function properly. Please Note The Following **Vehicle Location is
