Owned since 1968, this 1962 Plymouth Savoy lightweight street/strip
car for sale for the first time. Wolf in sheep's clothing and a
very consistent bracket racer. Fiberglass hood, fenders and
bumpers. Has .030 over 440 1970 block with custom Diamond pistons
on nascar hemi 7.06 con rods and six pack crank. Six quart street
hemi pan and windage tray, .557 solid Mopar cam with schubeck
lifters and chrome moly 1.6 rocker arms. Steath aluminum cylinder
heads from 440 Source, JR headers into 3' x-pipe, DynoMax mufflers
with 3' TTI tailpipes to bumper. Hoosier DOT soft treaded rear
tires 285x60x15 great traction on strip and good in rain also.
Centerline auto-drags all around 3.5' front and 8.5' rear. Car has
a 742 case 2.93 sure grip rear and goes through 1/4 mile in second
gear at 120mph. Third gear is used for driving to the track. A
Turbo Action 11' 2800 stall street hemi torque converter and
forward pattern manual push button torqueflight trans all work
well. Car will run 11.50 at 120 right off the street and pick up
left front tire a few inches at launch. Please Note The Following
