For Sale: 1967 Chevrolet Camaro in Volo, Illinois

Vehicle Description

This is a real RS-SS, born a 4-speed. It has been upgraded with a crate motor, air conditioning and more. Only 4,700 miles since the restoration. Very desirable combination of colors and options. A 4-speed with a/c in a convertible, plus RS-SS and much more.

EXTERIOR: It presents itself really well. The body is very straight. No rust or damage. It has the SS hood and optional spoilers. The black paint is polished smooth and glossy. Painted on white nose stripe. The RS includes hideaway headlights with electric motors. It also includes wide rocker moldings and relocated reverse lights. Most of the chrome and trim was replaced. Black convertible top looks great. It rolls on radial redline tires with 14x7 rally wheels. New trim on the wheels.

INTERIOR: Very desirable list of features- deluxe interior, factory tachometer, gauges, console, and deluxe wheel. Deluxe interior includes molded door panels and upgraded upholstery, both are very good condition. The dash pad and steering wheel are new. The gauges all look new. The speedometer works, the speed minder is not hooked up. It has a retro stereo.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: 350 GM crate motor with aluminum heads and intake. Holley dual feed carb, HEI ignition system and long tube headers. Dressed up with a matched set of valve covers and air cleaner. New alternator, power steering. Big aluminum radiator and aluminum water pump. Premium hoses and fittings. Modern heat and air conditioning system.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and jamb are glossy. Solid trunk floor painted with gray spatter. "Shaker" cans are still in place. New well liner, trunk mat, weatherstrip and wiring.

UNDERSIDE: Overall solid, proper and clean. Fuel system was replaced. Correct style dual exhaust with transverse muffler. Looking up at the motor it is very clean. 4-speed trans was serviced. Custom aluminum drive shaft.

Very desirable car with very desirable options. It is very easy on the eyes too, great combination of colors.

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded and you will be given a 1 year membership.
