This second generation 1979 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am is featured in rare Nocturne Blue exterior with a blue/ gold hood bird and large sail panel graphics accented by special edition blue pinstriping. This Trans am is powered by its original numbers matching 403ci V8 linked with a 3 speed automatic transmission, power steering and disc brakes. The interior is finished in light blue Lombardy cloth with hobnail patterned inserts. The car is equipped with a shaker hood scoop, front air dam, side and rear spoilers, dual exhaust with chrome splitters and a full tilt leather wrapped sport steering wheel. The formula styled wheel frames a 100mph speedometer, tachometer with inset clock and auxiliary gauges on an engine-tuned instrument panel. Optional equipment includes removable glass roof panels with included covers, newer AM/FM/CD Panasonic stereo with new speakers front and back, power windows, rear window defroster and TA branded floor mats. Partial restoration was performed several years ago and restoration included a full exterior repaint basecoat/ clear coat which continues to show good with nice gloss and shine, along with new decals and pinstriping. Body is in solid condition with smooth lines. Also the interior was repainted in factory correct deluxe light blue vinyl. The front bucket and rear seats are in good condition with no stains or tears. Also factory air was updated to R134A freon. This Trans Am has newer BF Goodrich radial tires with good tread that are mated to refinished gold alloy snowflake rims with gold center caps. Full jack and assembly are maintained in the trunk. This Trans Am has been garaged by the current owner the past 20 years and only driven in good weather. The car has a total of 88k miles on the odometer.
