Mechanical
This Corvette looks like it has the original 350 cubic inch small
block Chevy V8 engine under the hood, with some serious power
additives as well as appearance items, and it looks and runs
fantastic.
The small block Chevrolet in ours has a lot of shine to the engine
including polished aluminum Chevrolet Logo valve covers, tubular
headers, chrome performance intake manifold, four-barrel carb,
chrome open element air cleaner assembly, chrome alternator, chrome
ignition shielding on the distributor, air conditioning, power
steering, power brakes, with all of it sitting in a very clean and
detailed engine compartment.
An automatic 3-speed transmission backs up the engine and shifts
nice and smooth while 4-wheel power disc brakes provide plenty of
stopping power for this Vette.
Interior
Saddle bucket seats are split by the factory center console with
the automatic shifter, power windows, stereo radio, wooden
aftermarket cup holder, console pad, and engine function
gauges.
The restored interior looks as it did as it left the factory and
looks great with the factory stock console and gauges, saddle
matching door panels, tan carpet with Corvette logo floor mats, and
seatbelts.
There is plenty of storage behind the seats in this C3 Corvettes.
The rear is carpeted with cubby holes which house the battery, and
anything else you need to carry with you. There is also room enough
for a suitcase or folding chairs for attending car shows in your
classic as you ride with the T-Tops on or off.
Exterior
The Corvette we have is painted in a pretty shade of bright red
which was a factory color and looks great. It rides on custom
aftermarket 6-spoke polished mag wheels that are wrapped with
Goodyear Eagle GTR raised white letter tires.
The Corvette has great lines and body fitment to go along with the
iconic Corvette Stingray styling as well as the chrome luggage rack
on the rear and the dual exhaust having a great muscular sound from
the tips.
Conclusion
The restored red 1974 Corvette Coupe that we have here at Skyway
Classics, was the start of a new era for Corvette and these 74-82
Vettes are climbing in collector car value every day.
This Corvette looks great and it certainly a collectable car you
that you should buy, drive, and enjoy.
