Vehicle Description
Survivor original 1937 Chevy 3100 pick up truck for sale out of my
personal collection of classics. I have owned this truck since 2017
and have been using it daily around my farm and in town on errands
and for advertising my business. I originally bought the truck in
Minnesota from a farmer who had it in his barn for years. I got it
and found the original 216 engine was stuck. I installed a upgraded
235 6 cyl engine as I knew I would be using it a lot. This truck
fires right up and runs strong. This is a short box 1/2 ton truck.
The original gas tank works but I noticed a small leak developing
so I have been running it on a aux tank (should be able to fix the
original tank if you wanted). The truck drives great and handles
very well. The 4 speed floor shift engages all gears like it
should. The brakes stop the truck good. The body I left all
original. It has its dings, cosmetic surface rust etc but overall
very solid. The floors are solid. The gauges mostly work but the
speedo does not and the gas gauge came and went. The lights are
there but I taped the lenses when driving it as they came loose a
few times and I did not want them to come out etc. The wood in the
box is starting to rot but mostly there. This truck has a amazing
look to it. The patina and curb appeal is to die for. I am a
believer that they are only original once. The seat should be
recovered. I used a seat cover on it and was fine for what I used
it for. It has a clean and clear title. The windshield cranks in
and out and the doors open and shut the way they should. The
windows roll up and down but you have to help them a bit. The glass
looks good on the windshield. The rear glass has a foggy look. The
window glass has cracks but they are intact. These trucks in this
vintage are getting really hard to find. I personally have not seen
another one that has this great a look. Very fun driving and unique
vintage 1937 Chevy pick up. Please Note The Following **Vehicle
