1939 Chevrolet Pickup- Frame Off "Restored Original"- 3rd Owner-
Orange
Owned for over 30 years by the current owner. This interesting '39
Chevy Pickup was built at the Oakland, California plant and the
first owner was the "Territory of Alaska" Highway Department
(remember, it would be 20 years later, 1959, that Alaska would
become a State!). It was purchased by our sellers family and
restored (frame off) with the interest in keeping it the original
color of Omaha Orange and yes, the engine and transmission received
a total rebuild as well (6 cylinder, manual floor shift). Even
though the restoration was done over a period of time starting
about twenty years ago, the current condition speaks to the quality
of work done and the very few miles driven since. Overall, this
beautiful '39 Pickup is ready for Shows, Cruise events and family
fun.
