Beautiful 1957 Ford Thunderbird Removable Hardtop
New to our Pleasanton showroom is this highly impressive 1957 Ford
Thunderbird 2 Door Coupe w/ Removable Hardtop with black exterior
paint, gorgeous chrome, and a stunning red vinyl interior. You'll
find a factory correct 312 cid V-8 engine under the hood that's
paired to the numbers-matching automatic transmission, and this
desirable one-owner classic has been maintained at incredible
levels throughout its life. We also have excellent lifetime
documentation on file and the factory soft top as well.
Incredible One-Owner Classic w/ Lifetime Documentation
The current owner of this 1957 Ford Thunderbird Convertible
purchased it new 65 years ago and has cherished this classic it's
entire life. He informs us that this example has stayed original
throughout its life with one restoration over a decade back. We do
not know whether or not the engine was rebuilt at that time, but we
can say that this classic accelerates, handles, and drives exactly
like you'd expect a high end classic to perform. The engine
compartment and undercarriage also look highly correct for this
model year and it is among one of the most original examples we've
seen.
In terms of present condition, this 1957 Ford Thunderbird Removable
Hardtop looks very nice up close with quality paint, very straight
body lines, and beautiful chrome trim. The alignment appears to be
excellent all the way around and only minor imperfections exist
such as small scratches and dings. The removable hardtop is also in
great condition as is the factory soft top, which is not installed
at this time but included in the sale. Meanwhile, the factory
interior is immaculate and really takes this vehicle to another
level- the black on red color combination definitely pops in the
light.
