Mechanical
Under this hood is the Jeep/AMC 304 cubic-inch V8 engine that was
always considered a torque master for crawling muscle off road or
on the sand that you want in a Jeep.
The engine bay has a clean style that has just the upgraded pieces
you really want. The V8 inhales deeper with an Edelbrock chrome
open element air cleaner, has a modified distributor electronics
system and spark plug wires, air conditioning, power brakes, with
the rest of the engine and engine compartment looking stock and
original.
That makes for a strong-running Jeep with the 3-speed manual
transmission that lets you take control over the 4x4 transfer case
and Corsa All Terrain XL tires on the chrome mag wheels.
Interior
The restored interior is just as Jeep intended it and very clean,
complete, and quite functional with the high-back front seats and
matching rear seats and door panels, air conditioning, black sport
steering wheel, blue seatbelts, black mats, full Jeep gauges in the
restored dash, chrome passenger grab handle, stereo radio, cup
holder center console, full roll cage that adds strength and
security, floor shifters, and covered by a complete black top
including doors.
Exterior
Bright Red paint always looks good on a Jeep, and this one is no
exception. The paint is nice and is set-off by all the black
attributes including the black front and rear bumpers, dual
mirrors, black fiberglass fender flares, and that removable black
soft-top.
Conclusion
Whether you want a daily driver, off-roader, or a beach cruiser,
this 1979 Restored Jeep CJ5 was built to handle it all, and it does
it so well.
This is the restored Jeep you will love with the Jeep style and V8
power you don't often get elsewhere. So don't let this one slip
away.
