Vehicle Description
1994, Pontiac released this special 25th Anniversary model, with
this car being one of just 338 hardtops produced out of a pre-sold
2,000-unit production run. Moreover, this desirable anniversary
special was preserved from day one, showing only 27,159 actual
miles on the odometer and only two owners! Indeed, cars of the sort
often require provenance, which is extensive here, including the
original window sticker, original keys, 25th Firebird Trans Am
Anniversary owner's books and manuals and a Firebird Trans Am 25th
Anniversary kit model too! At the time of its creation, few
realized that not only would Firebird disappear, but the brand also
itself would be gone entirely less than 20 years later. As
produced, the white with blue graphics color scheme was chosen for
these 25th Anniversary models to honor the original release. The
redesign of the body had been done the previous year, and now it
was augmented by special though subtle graphics, white wheels, a
rear spoiler and pseudo ground-effects lower rockers. Underneath
its hood, the car had the LT1 engine, with its twin-butterfly
throttle body, aluminum intake, free-flowing aluminum heads,
0.450-lift performance cam and 1.5:1 rocker arms. Final
displacement is 350 CI with a measured 10.5:1 compression. Behind
it is a 4L60E 4-speed automatic with overdrive and a lockup
converter, coupled to a limited-slip differential. With substantial
specific trim, the interiors were fully optioned in Trans Am GT
fashion, including white leather trim, posh bucket seats, a console
with shifter and premium audio equipment. Shod with blackwall
rubber, the wheels have unique centers and were exclusive to the
release. The 25th Anniversary editions were beloved by their
owners, but few remain in the condition of preservation this one
sports-owning that in itself will be excitement.. Please Note The
