Vehicle Description
1969 Buick Gran Sport 350 - 350ci V8 - Automatic Transmission - Red
Over Black Interior - Black Vinyl Top - 18k Miles Shown, True
Mileage Unknown Garage Kept Motors is very pleased to offer this
gorgeous 1969 Buick Gran Sport 350. GM offered an incredible
variety in their A-Body platform for the performance enthusiast;
you had the Super Sport Chevelles, Pontiac GTOs, Oldsmobile 442s
and of course the Buick Gran Sport. The most popular A-body cars
are ones built from 1968-1972 which is when the shorter 112
wheelbase was introduced. Driving any of these cars you will be
impressed how well balanced they are, as the performance models all
came equipped with front and rear stabilizer bars and when equipped
with front disc brakes these cars also brake very well. It's no
secret as these cars were popular for this reason in hobby class
racing, be it circle track or road course racing. Of all of the
Generals offerings, the Buick Gran Sports, the executive's muscle
car, are very popular and sell very quickly from our inventory.
This Gran Sport is simply elegant, the older red paint is well
applied and still shines with a nice luster showing only a few very
minor blemishes. The Black vinyl top presents as original showing
only some light color fade. The chrome bumpers and stainless trim
are original showing some very light patina and all the original GS
emblems are all present and installed in the correct positions. The
Buick chrome steel wheels are wrapped in black wall radial tires
and add a subtle racy look to this clean looking GS. Inside the
interior appears all original. The door and rear panels have some
light warpage to them but the vinyl material is clean with only
some light wear on the faux chrome accents. Seat upholstery and the
headliner present as original as well showing just some light wear,
but free of any tears or rips, the headliner stitching is starting
to pull slightly at the seems. The bench seat is a nice touch and
reminiscent of when we all use to cruise our favorite boulevard
with our beloved snuggled up to next to us. The carpet is new and
well installed. The aluminum Buick sport rim steering wheel is
present and the dash is stock showing some light wear in the
finish. A set of AutoMeter gauges monitor the engine RPMS, oil
pressure and temp. An aftermarket AM/FM Radio with Aux input
delivers 60 watts of power to the rear deck mounted 6 X 9 speakers
filling the cabin with your favorite cruising tunes. The trunk is
clean and has been detailed and painted with no indications of any
rust through in the trunk floor and includes a full-sized spare
tire. Under the hood sits the Buick 350 V8 with factory cold air
intake that seals to the hood pulling cooler, dense air from
outside. The factory cast iron manifolds have been replaced with a
set exhaust headers that flow freely into a true dual exhaust with
chamber styled mufflers into tailpipes that exit under the rear
bumper with chrome tips. The engine appears well maintained with a
fresh tune-up including distributor cap, Accel HP spark plug wires
and new spark plugs as and a new starter has been installed. The
engine has been lightly detailed and is ready for the hood to be
opened at your next local cruise in. Power is transferred to a 350
Turbo-Hydramatic 3 speed automatic to the 10-bolt rear differential
with limited slip differential. The undercarriage is unrestored and
presents as largely original. The frame and floorboards are rust
free and were undercoated sometime in the past. Braking is supplied
by power assist four-wheel drum brakes and power steering helps
guide this GS down the road with ease. This car has a great rumble
at idle and sounds even better as you accelerate. This car draws a
lot of attention and will be sure to garner lots of smiles and
thumbs up while you are out cruising. As we mentioned these Buick's
do not stay long here at Garage Kept Motors so please, call if
interested or e-mail with specific questions. Thank you for
