Vehicle Description
This 1978 Chevrolet Blazer K5 is fresh off a full restoration that
made big investments in the awesome two-tone paint, loaded A/C
interior, suspension, overdrive transmission, and crate small
block. It makes for the kind of sharp-looking retro-cool ride that
is absolutely irresistible.
The medium blue and white two-tone has a nice look of the sky on
your perfect spring day. That just seems right for a classic SUV
that can remove the hardtop and be open to the world. In fact,
since there are under 200 miles on this one since its restoration,
the hint of metallic in the fresh and smooth blue has an especially
radiant look in the sunshine. So this one really knows how to
maximize its style when you let it out of the garage. The work on
this Blazer was quite thorough, and so you have nice classic
pieces, like shining chrome bumpers, premium Silverado trim w/hood
ornament, and a later Chevy grille with a color-matched streak
across the middle. But this is more than just pure vintage. The LED
headlights, LED tail lights, and 22-inch US Mags alloys offer the
right hint of modern to let everyone know you have a restored and
updated classic.
The interior is a beautiful full sea of blue. We love details, like
the pattern of the cloth upholstery and dual-spoke steering wheel
that make this look like a stock truck. But as you get inside, you
can really tell the level of freshness that comes from a full
restoration that was only completed in 2021. The carpet, door
panels, headliner, dash, weather-stripping, and all the
fundamentals feel like they want to turn back the clock and make
this feel like you bought this at the Chevy dealer yesterday. And
because this is a loaded Silverado trim, you have the best features
like power front windows, power locks, a tilt steering column, and
a cup holder center console. Even the upgrades are done to be very
well integrated. The stereo is a retro-style unit, and the air
condoning is now a Vintage Air system.
The engine bay is just as fresh as the rest of this build. You have
a new 350 cubic-inch crate V8 featuring a four-barrel carburetor,
an Edelbrock aluminum intake, and a dual exhaust with Flowmaster
mufflers. It also has good supporting components like dual electric
fans and a serpentine belt system. As you look underneath, you'll
see the difference a full restoration gives you when they take the
work down to the frame. And this freshness means a confident
feeling on the road. Add in power steering, power brakes, front
discs, grippy sport tires, and a four-speed automatic transmission
with overdrive, and this makes for a terrific classic to enjoy on
trips near or far.
The sale comes complete with build receipts documenting well over
$20k invested in delivering such a clean, fresh, and fun classic
SUV. So if you're looking for a Blazer you can really enjoy on day
one, call today!
