It's a V8, it's an S10, yes it's fast, and it's under $10K. Come
get it! This 1986 S10 isn't so pretty that you don't want to drive
it and occasionally take it to the dragstrip and knock a little
rubber off. It is sitting good in primer waiting for the next owner
to throw a coat of paint on it. One of our Instagram followers even
said "this thing is looking rough, while packing the stuff" (thanks
@sketty_santacruz). I think they're right. Whether it's something
you want to take and learn how to do paint work, or you get it
professionally painted, this S10 has great lines and sounds like a
beast. The cowl hood is a full steel cowl hood (which gets quite
expensive if you've ever priced them out). Now we've had numerous
questions regarding the rear differential. Let me lay it on you,
this baby has an 8.8" 3.73 ratio posi rear end. They were quite the
upgrade back in the day and pretty easy to grab out of the 90's
explorer since most of them ended up upside down somewhere thanks
to Firestone. That's not all this baby has, we're talking headers
into Flowmaster exhaust, aluminum intake, aluminum water pump (a
little less common than you might think), 4 wheel disk brakes, and
a beautiful set of weld wheels. 165's up front and 275x60R15 Drag
Radials out back. Now, the next step is seeing this thing in
person. Sleep on it and it'll be gone, I know it's not perfect but
IT IS awesome. If you have a mullet at the time of purchase, I will
personally see to it that you get not one, but TWO I-95 Muscle
stickers and I'll even throw in a pretty sick stylus pen. Due to
regulation AR670-1 I will waive the mullet requirement for any
active duty service member. See you soon!
