Vehicle Description
You're looking at a Ford Mustang that's been blessed by the best.
After all, when the shops from Richard Petty and Jack Roush team up
to create a limited edition (#6 out of 100 built for this year)
American supercar, you know it's going to be something special.
This 2015 Ford Mustang Petty's Garage Stage 1 Edition coupe has
been tuned to put out 627 horses, features a gorgeous Oxford White
over Ebony Leather color combination, and has been absolutely
babied across a miniscule 3,687 actual miles. If big power, bigger
pedigree, and exclusivity are your thing, then this could be your
once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to own one of the coolest 'modern
classics' ever made.
One of the best reasons to own a special edition like this is that
it instantly sticks out from the crowd. It starts with that elegant
Oxford White finish, which even after seven years and a handful of
break-in miles looks like it could sit on anyone's showroom floor.
Ford's 6th generation Mustang GT Premium Coupe is the perfect
backdrop for this Petty/Roush collaboration, and the lowered
stance, black ground effects, upper and lower front mesh grilles,
gloss black tail-panel, and NASCAR-inspired spoiler out back all
add to the droptop's insane curb appeal. The limited-edition
treatment also comes with hood scoops and super-cool lower rear
valance with a wide exhaust exit, black 5.0 fender badges, a
"Petty's Garage" windshield banner, and a little extra Petty's
Garage badging tucked underneath the rear spoiler - all of which
work together to let everyone know this isn't just some EcoBoost
grocery-getter. We love the two-tone effect all those black accents
provide against the slick white finish, and because this car's
spent an easy life in warm, sunny Texas since new and has been very
well-cared for by two-owners, everything still looks very fresh and
clean. There may be a tiny imperfection somewhere acquire over the
course of 3687 miles (it's so hard to spot minor imperfections in
white paint), but certainly nothing that concerns the naked eye
even after close examination. Black HRE Flow Form FF1 wheels
continue the white-and-black theme and finish things up perfectly,
and as you look over every inch of this custom Mustang, you'll see
just how thoughtful the designers were when creating this total
package.
Inside is a loaded GT premium Mustang interior that remains so new
and unblemished that it smells like the factory floor. While you'll
love having the Petty's Garage logo embroidered on places like the
headrest and floor mats, what will really tell you this is a
special edition is Richard Petty's actual signature on the driver's
side dash. After all, this is only one of these 100 limited-edition
cars produced in 2015, and at #6 it's one of the first ones off the
line. Beyond a true collector's item this Mustang is desirable
because it has all the modern amenities you could want, including
power windows, power locks, cruise control, power steering, keyless
entry & ignition, electric rear defogger, dual zone automatic
climate control system, and heated & cooled leather seats just to
name a few. The modern infotainment system means you not only get a
terrific sounding AM/FM/SAT/AUX stereo, but it also has plenty of
useful features like a touchscreen, Bluetooth, a back-up camera.
There's even voice-activated navigation, although be sure to speak
up over the roar of the engine. Plus, the power steering can be
adjusted between touring and performance driving right from the
cockpit, and the contoured leather seats mean you can hit the
corners as aggressively as you please. A modern machine also means
modern safety with dual front airbags, side airbags, and anti-lock
brakes, so go ahead and stand on it with the confidence of Ford's
top-of-the-line safety standards.
Under the hood is where you recognize the Petty legend merging with
the Roush performance expertise. While this is a Stage 1 Petty car,
it feels a bit more like what you get from a premium Roush Stage 3
package, with immense power up-and-down the throttle. That means
the original and hardy Coyote 5.0-liter V8 now has a Ford
Racing/Roush supercharger augmenting the horsepower, and a GT
Performance package that keeps it on the road. Add in a Ford
Racing/Roush cold air kit and engine re-calibration and tune, and
the total package is rated at a massive 627 horsepower that's
always at the ready. An upgrade MagnaFlow center-exit exhaust
package gives this power package a serious growl, and best of all,
you're in complete control of this supercharged V8 and its
thunderous soundtrack thanks to the feisty 6-speed manual
transmission and 3.73 Torsen rear axle. While the latest Mustang is
a superior handler thanks to a fully-independent suspension, this
one turns the control up a notch with a big four-wheel disc brake
kit and sticky 255/35/20 front and 275/35/20 rear Continental
ExtremeContact tires at all four corners.
This is a true collector's vehicle, and it comes with the Ford and
Petty window stickers, Petty Certificate of Authenticity, Petty car
cover and floormats, and original owner's manuals to keep with this
ultra-low mileage, instant classic. So, if you missed the
opportunity at the rare Petty Stage 1 Mustang the first time at
SEMA, this might be your only second chance to get in on all the
fuss. Call today!!!
