We are pleased to offer this 1987 Toyota Camry LE for your consideration. This car has been owned by my wife and I since new, June 15, 1987. This Camry has never been smoked in, nor ever transported pets, nor subjected to children. It has been and continues to be an easy to start, excellent to operate and drive car, and also an efficient car to operate and own. This Camry also has never been repainted, has not been in an auto accident, has complete original interior and original engine and transmission. It is as original today as it was June 15, 1987. The exception to the previous sentence would be tires, battery, and the regular maintenance thereof.
This Camry LE is powered by a 2.0L 4 cylinder DOHC 16 valve engine, an electric controlled 4 speed automatic transmission, electronic fuel injection, front wheel drive, Macpherson struts, power steering, full wheel covers, vented power front disc brakes, 185/70 SR14 steel radial tires(Michelins), fully independent suspension, tilt wheel, power outside mirrors, power antenna, electronic AM/FM/Cassette stereo, color keyed bumpers, Luxury Burgundy Velour trim, tinted glass, adjustable intermittent front wipers, electric rear window defogger, air conditioner, 4-piece carpeted floor mats, and cruise control.
To the best of my knowledge, there appears to be zero rust on this Camry’s body and its underside. This vehicle was not subjected to snow or road additives in California for the first 18 years of its life. Likewise, it has not been subjected to snow nor any road additives since 2005 when it was driven to Iowa upon our retirement. Instead, it has been driven periodically between June and October of each year to keep it active. Between November and May of each year since 2005, this Camry has been placed on blocks in a dry and weatherproof garage and has never been exposed to Midwest winter weather.
Currently, the power antenna does not retract but works well in the extended position with the working AM/FM/Cassette factory installed radio. A car cover can be included if preferred. A good clean and clear title is available.
