1956 Lincoln Preimere 2 DR HT Starmist White 460 ci C6 three speed auto
This is a running, drive anywhere, go anywhere car.
I’ve owned this car for just over eight years. It came from Lincoln dealer Barrett Ballard in Holyoke, MA with a nice complete body and the 368 gone. This car has all original sheet metal except inner and outer rockers and a couple small pieces in the trunk. The 460 C6 came from the original owner of a 1979 E200 van. That owner was the city of Marengo, Iowa and they certified that mileage of 37k miles as correct.
Replaced:
460 oil pan and oil pump
GM alternator
GM HEI distributor
Water pump
PS pump
Stainless exhaust system
Champion 3 row radiator
Brake components plus turning of drums at machine shop
Rear leaf springs and bushings from KC spring co in Kansas
Helper spring shocks from Kanter
Battery in trunk
New steering linkage and idler arm
New fan clutch
All new brake cables
5 sand blasted wheels with new tires
Seat belts
C6 just serviced in Marysville, OH
Newport electric wiper motor two speed
New frame to body mounts
All new brake and fuel lines
New drive shaft and u-joints
Smaller diameter steering wheel
Carpet
General condition:
All electric windows work as they should
All lights, brake and turns signals are working (turn signal cancel is not working)
Heater is working (has a front and a rear heater core with new hoses)
Speedometer is working
All stainless was buffed and polished and installed with new clips
Power seat working in all directions
460 has original carb and automatic choke is working very well at any temp.

Missing original stainless exhaust bezels that fit into rear bumper
Tail light lenses have seen better days
The original power antenna is gone. This car does not have an antenna
The top of the car was originally white.
The original spot light is gone.
The front seat needs to go to the trim shop. The bench portion of the front seat does not have any foam. The foam is gone.
The kick trim pieces need to be installed. They were just put there for the pictures.
The correct right front interior door handle is gone.
The lights for the door trims are not hooked up and the lenses were not installed. The lenses do come with the car.
The jack and lug wrench are gone.
Only one license lamp is in place and working. The other lamp comes with the car.
The seat surround pieces come with the car and are not installed.
Bumpers need to be re-chromed.
