This 1969 Chevrolet C20 pickup has an instant appeal that comes
from a rarer extra-duty truck. But that might not even be what
first attracts you to this one because it has been given solid
cruiser upgrades like attractive paint, an A/C interior, a
well-built small block V8, and four-wheel disc brakes.
We like the first impression this one gives off. Dark blue is a
modern clearcoat application with a nice metallic glow in the
sunshine. And the details on this one are terrific, too. The chrome
bumpers look brilliant, the grille has a smoother style, the glass
is clear, the weather-stripping is pliable, and the doors close
with confidence. It makes for a truck that's quite stylish, but
when you have a rarer C20, it's also nice to see this one still has
a work-ready overall appearance. After all, the useful long bed is
protected with a thick rubber mat, and the upgraded alloys still
showcase the extra-duty 8-lug wheels.
The dark blue and black two-tone interior goes well with the
exterior color theme. The fundamentals like door panels, carpeting,
and dash have a clean look. It's a driver's truck, and so the seat
shows some wear, but these Chevys have a deep aftermarket to make
it easy for you to choose a stylish replacement cover. And being a
driver's truck has its advantages, too. It means you have nice
cruiser upgrades like a Grant sports steering wheel on a tilt
column, a retro-style AM/FM stereo with aux input, upgraded
speakers, and cold-blowing air conditioning.
Under the hood, the clean inner fenders funnel your attention to
the powerful heart in the middle. This is a Chevy 350 cubic inch V8
that has been upgraded with aluminum heads, an Edelbrock Performer
intake, and topped with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor. And
the headers feed into an H-pipe dual exhaust. The engine's clean
look shows proper maintenance, and the way this fires up and runs
reaffirms its good care. And it's especially easy to drive thanks
to the stout but smooth TH400 three-speed automatic transmission.
There's also power steering and a desirable trailing arm rear
suspension. Plus, the braking has been fully upgraded with a dual
master cylinder and four-wheel power discs with slotted rotors.
This is the extra-duty C20 that has been upgraded all around for
extra appeal. So you need to be extra quick to grab this deal. Call
