Vehicle Description
Classic Car Addict is proud to present this beautiful Documented,
numbers matching 1976 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am for sale in our
Mesa, AZ showroom. This numbers matching Pontiac has 29,746 on the
miles, which averaged about 647 miles per year. The Pontiac
Firebird Trans Am is possibly one of the most iconic cars in
American automotive history because of its flamboyant style, big V8
engines, and film screen time. Whether it's a jet-black bootlegging
racer or a bright silver show car, these cars built a name for
themselves as America's favorite classic automotive outlaw. This
Pontiac was bought new at Oakley Pontiac in Bartlesville, Oklahoma
and still retains the original dealer invoice, window sticker, and
copy of build sheet. The second generation is typically the one
people talk about when you hear the Firebird Trans Am name. There
is an excellent reason for this as the car was essentially the last
pony car to even try to look good during the dark ages of American
performance. This car is a beautiful example of the lengths Pontiac
was willing to go to, to keep the American automotive dream alive.
You may have already guessed that this is a pristine 1976 Pontiac
Firebird Trans Am coated in Sterling Silver paint to show off its
wings. For 1976, Pontiac reshaped the "shovel-nose" Endura front
for a more aerodynamic aesthetic, and it featured color-matched
bumpers in the front and back. Also, the tail lamps were modified
for this model year. This Pontiac has been repainted, and the paint
is in excellent condition and features the Trans Am decal package
and the iconic grill. Open the doors and this Pontiac is equipped
with its original factory interior, that is in excellent condition!
No rips or tears in the seats, carpet is super clean. Factory
options include tinted glass (A01), tilt wheel (N33), air
conditioning (C60), shaker hood (WX3), formula steering wheel
(NK3), rally wheels (N98), custom mirrors (D35), recess wipers
(C24), power disc brakes (JL2), deluxe interior trim (Y02, Y03,

functioning. Powered by its numbers-matching 400 C.I. 4-barrel V8
engine, power connects to the rear wheels through its Borg Warner
Super T10 numbers matching 4 speed manual transmission. The car
comes issued with power steering, JL2 power disc brakes, G80
posi-traction rear end, GU5 3.23 axle, dual exhaust system, and
rides on a beautiful set of rally gray wheels. This beauty rides on
P225/70R15 Goodyear Eagle ST tires with great tread. (Transmission
code Borg WF7 62, 13 04 065 903 1-5-76, casting number 9785581, VIN
on transmission 26N593883). This Pontiac is the best quality you
