For Sale: 1980 Cadillac Sedan in Mooresville, North Carolina

Vehicle Description

HIGHLIGHTS: Same owner 15 years! Desirable 6.0L V8! Black on white! Great affordable weekend cruiser!

BODY OVERVIEW: The body on this 1980 Cadillac Sedan DeVille is in great condition-a pleasant surprise for a 42-year-old car that spent most of its life in New England. The body is very straight, despite normal signs of age and use. Representative imperfections are shown in the photos.

PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW: It is no secret the GM was cutting costs on everything in the 1990s, especially their paint. The paint on this Cadillac appears to be either original or a very old repaint and is in good condition for the age of the car. This car appears to have spent time parked under a tree, so there are spots where it looks like tree sap or something similar sat on the paint. These spots are shown in the photos, and present throughout the top side of the car. The white vinyl top is in great condition showing slight fading, and also suffers from similar tree-related imperfections to the paint as shown in the photos.

INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW: The interior is original white leather that looks great against the black exterior! While intact overall, the seats all show signs of fading and age, and there are tears in the front seats as shown in the photos. The power front seats are partially operational. This is an honest car, and you get what you see! With a little love, this vehicle could be seriously handsome.

MECHANICAL OVERVIEW: The 6.0 Liter V8 fires right up, and sounds good. This car appears to have been used and driven regularly as long as it has existed. Though it has been a few years since this car pulled daily-duty, it still runs like it does! With a claimed recent transmission service, this Cadillac is ready to clock some more miles.

WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT THIS CAR: The rare and striking color combination. Tony Soprano would love this thing!

WHAT YOU MIGHT HATE ABOUT THIS CAR: As mentioned previously, this car has seen use throughout its life, and this is reflected in the cosmetic condition of both the interior and exterior. With some TLC, this car could show very nicely, but that is not everyone's cup of tea.

DOES IT NEED ANYTHING? A new home and a little lovin'!

WHAT BUYER IS LOOKING FOR THIS CAR? Anyone looking for an affordable price on a full-sized '80s Cadillac with a killer look!
