BODY OVERVIEW: The body on this 1978 GMC Eleganza Motorhome is
clean, straight, and true to original form. These GMCs were super
cool when new, and even cooler now! The lack of body damage
suggests that this van has seen good care its whole life.
PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW: The "1970s beige" paint scheme looks very
handsome on this motorhome, complemented by the tasteful
Alcoa-style wheels. The paint itself is in fair condition, but the
clear-coat has seen better days, as shown in the photos.
INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW: The interior of an old RV is almost
always the scariest part. This GMC appears to have been kept very
true to original style over the years, and presents well for an RV
of this vintage. Although it has held up well over the years, there
are some areas needing attention as seen in the photos. She's all
there though!
MECHANICAL OVERVIEW: This RV fires right up, and the 455 V8 sounds
great! This RV is no doubt geared for highway use, but the 455 V8
is more than enough power to haul this front-wheel drive behemoth
around town comfortably. Because these motorhomes are based on the
FWD Oldsmobile Toronado design, it feels more like driving a van
than an RV! It even has disc brakes on all three axles!
WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT THIS CAR: The uniqueness of it, and the
adoration RV'ers and classic car enthusiasts alike share for
it.
WHAT YOU MIGHT HATE ABOUT THIS CAR: If you don't like big ol' 1970s
RVs, this is definitely not for you.
DOES IT NEED ANYTHING? The only items noted as non-operational at
this time are the radio and emergency brake. Accessories and
appliances have not been tested.

commercial carriers most of which can deliver the vehicle to your

affiliates, it is the customer's sole responsibility to verify the
accuracy of the price with the dealer. All advertised prices
exclude local, state, government fees and taxes and dealer

Our preferred and most secure form of payment is a bank wire
transfer. We can accept checks, but note that any form of a check
will have a minimum hold of 10 business days. This includes
cashier's checks, certified checks, or bank checks of any kind. For
cash received in the amount of $10,000 or more, we will complete an
IRS Form 8300. We can not accept any credit card as payment or
partial payment for a vehicle under any circumstance.
