With its lowered stance, short bed style, and upgraded V8 power,
this 1985 GMC C1500 Sierra Classic makes a cool and sporty
impression. And as you look at the full package, it shows this is a
comfortable classic cruiser with the right features for good
any-time driving.
You can't help but be instantly attracted to this truck. Short bed
square-body GMCs are red hot right now, and the lowered stance and
polished dual exhaust tips give it the right amount of attitude.
The two-tone blue and gray is an attractive color combo. You may
choose to update the finish if you're looking for a show truck kind
of style. But right now the overall theme of this pickup is about
being stylish while also remaining quite useful. For example the
bright bed rails and clean liner paint in the bed look terrific,
and they also are handy when it's time for a lumber run. The bright
diamond plate rear step bumper lets you fit a tow ball. And those
18-inch Rocket alloys look terrific with the stance, and at the
same time, let you fit better grippy tires.
The two-tone blue and gray continues inside. It's a very stock
style with a few nice upgrades, like the later bench seat cover
with comfy velour inserts. This is loaded with the best features
for that era, like power windows, a Delco AM/FM stereo, and a
sliding rear window. There are also provisions for both power locks
and R134a air conditioning that will just need servicing to be
fully functional again. Plus the factory steering wheel is on a
tilt column to give you a commanding view of the wraparound gauge
panel and the road ahead.
GM's small block has a terrifically robust reputation, and so it's
welcomed in a useful truck like this. The 350 cubic-inch V8 has a
little added flair from the bright air cleaner and polished valve
covers. But what you'll really appreciate are the performance
upgrades like Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock
intake, and headers feeding the dual exhaust. So there's plenty of
power for work or play. Add in the three-speed automatic
transmission, power steering, power brakes, and front discs, and it
makes for a confident and easy cruiser.
The GMCs have the appeal of real truck versatility, and this one
gives you plenty of style, too. Call today!!!
