Vehicle Description
The VW camper setups have a great story and the history is strong
on the capabilities these offered families to enjoy the landscape
of the world. Sold to a worldwide audience from the start and a
significant numbers of these were brought to North America to allow
inexpensive travel with a rolling house.
Proud to bring to market for only the 3rd time since being sold
originally out of Oregon then being used in Washington till our
recent procurement. Vehicle is a very original setup with some
tasteful upgrades, but most importantly is that it only has 72,501
miles on the odometer. Almost all of these were driven till they
fell apart or rebuilt but finding one under 150k miles is almost
unheard of. Vehicle appears that the original stove, propane and
refrigerator has never been used either. Factory stickers and film
are still on the stove. Vehicle comes with the desirable camper
setup with cabinets, two burner stove, sink, refrigerator, propane
setup, window curtains, swivel tables, pop top camper with new
canvas, fold down rear bed/couch, and the awesome front swivel
seats. Few modifications to the Vanagon is the side awning and 2nd
row VW bench seat. This seat is easily removed by sliding it out of
van if you do not need the extra seating. However, having the
ability to seat 3 additional people makes this van very
versatile.
Overall this Vanagon is in very nice shape with clean interior,
well preserved paint, and a nice file of service receipts.
According to previous owner the engine was recently serviced and
brought up to 2.1L specs. Vehicle drives nicely and with gear and
people loaded up it will still hustle down the back roads and
provide an adventure that will make memories for a lifetime.
