This is an once in a lifetime incredible example of an extremely low mile completely original 1959 Ford Fairlane Galaxie 500. Mileage is believed to be original. This car is extremely solid and clearly has spent most of its life in storage. The colonial white paint exterior shows well and is undoubtedly original paint and in fair to good condition for being original. There are a few minor dings around the exterior which appear to be just from getting bumped and dinged while in storage. All bright work is in incredible condition aside from slight damage on the drivers rear taillight bezel which can be seen in the photos. A new bezel is included if the new owner so chooses to replace it. The interior is A++ near showroom perfect condition and is correct for the data plate. Its hard to believe unless you see it for yourself. As you can see in the pictures the interior still has the dealer installed poly seat covers along with the matching sun visor covers and a small hand bag that hangs on the door crank. This appears to be a rust free car in all areas aside from slight surface rust from the aged paint areas around the car. There is no "rot" anywhere on this incredible time capsule. A new radiator and heater hoses have been installed, new alternator, new brakes and brake lines, and the carburetor has been gone through with a rebuild kit, but is original to the car. Other minor parts have been replaced just do to the age. (Ex. battery cables) The car runs and drives very well and floats down the road as they all did in this era. There are a few new parts that come along with the car as well as the old parts that were replaced. The 145 horse power 223 inline six cylinder engine appears to be original to the car and is the correct engine code for the car paired with the original 3 speed manual transmission that operates perfectly.
