matching, J code TA, documented
by the
broadcast sheet, fender tag and has been placed in the Galen Govier
Registry as #241 of 1008 in vin sequence of all 1970 Dodge
Challenger T/A'S produced at the Hamtramck plant. This T/A was also
featured in Musclecar Classics magazine and it had 63,000 original
miles at that time. In 2006 the miles were documented to be 66,472
actual and currently reads 67,871. Very low mile and pristinely
kept Challenger T/A! Under the
hood is the matching numbers, J-Code, 340
cubic
inch V8 topped off with the very
desirable 6-pack, three two
barrel carb system and launched by the numbers matching A727
Torqueflite automatic transmission. Power front disc brakes keeps
this rare Mopar stopping easily. The beautiful interior feature
factory bucket seats with rare black and white, cloth and vinyl
Houndstooth upholstery, woodgrain center console, Music Master AM
radio, remote drivers side mirror, full door panels, original
woodgrain steering wheel and seat belts.
The T/A only side exit exhaust looks tough and sound mean. This
American Dream Machine is rolling on the correct rally wheels that
are wrapped in BF Goodrich radial T/A tires for drop dead good
looks. This is truly an investment grade muscle car that will
always be a large part of Mopar racing history.
