For Sale: 2002 Audi TT in Kentwood, Michigan

In 1998 Audi introduced the TT, a two-door and is currently in its third generation as it is still being produced. You can either get a 2+2 Coupe or a two-seat convertible with the Group A platform from Volkswagen. The name TT is short for Tourist Trophy, a motorcycle race, the Isle of Man which Audi has origins starting with the DKW motor-cycle. The first generation TT, or Mk1 was built until 2006 and would share its platform with the A3, A4 and many VW cousins. This particular stunner that we are pleased to present is a One-Owner, low mileage example with all books, records, keys car cover etc...This was mostly dealer serviced especially through the warranty and extended warranty time period and then after that was serviced through specialty euro service center here in the area. The car was purchased new here at Traverse Motors here in Traverse City and was always used as second vehicle, meaning it was never driven through the winter months and always had good storage during that time. The interior is like new as is the convertible top that operates like it should. Everything is in working order with the exception of the fuel guage, which shows empty but is full. We had the inop fuel guage diagnosed at it is determined to be the fuel guage cluster which happens to be common from what we learned. You can still purchase them new (with a wait time) for around $1400 or you can have it pulled, sent out and rebuilt for $600-$800. We have decided because of timing to let the buyer be aware of this issue and make the final determination for them selves what they would like to do and price the vehicle accordingly. This is a very clean, unmolested car that runs and drives extremely well that has been very well taken care of.
