This 1989 Chevy Suburban is a Silverado and it is a very clean and
very original truck that has been very well cared for. This is a 2
Owner truck that spent its life in Oregon. This truck has been very
well maintained with a ton of maintenance showing up on the Carfax.
The body on this Suburban is clean and straight. It was repainted
once in its original colors of Victory Red and Gunmetal Gray. The
paint is really nice and is a great color combination. This is a
sharp truck!! When it was repainted it had the side moldings and
window seals replaced. The underside is also very clean and solid.
We found no rust issues with this truck.
The interior is really clean and mostly stock/original. The seats,
dash, door panels, and headliner appear to be original and are in
beautiful condition. The original carpet was removed and replaced
with a rubber floor mat that looks great and fits really nice. The
headlights, taillights, brake lights, and turn signals are all
working. All of the gauges work and the power locks and windows are
working. The cruise, heat, wipers, and horn all work. The AC system
is complete but the AC is not blowing cold.
Mechanically this truck is great!!! It was obviously well
maintained and cared for. The engine and transmission were replaced
at 171K per the Jasper Tag and last owner. The 5.7L 350 V8 was
replaced in the with a GM 5.7L 350 V8 engine. This year does have
the throttle body fuel injection. We did not receive paperwork for
the motor but you can see it is new and it still has the stickers
on it. The engine runs smooth and strong with no issues. They added
a new starter, new water pump, new alternator, new AC compressor.
and full tune-up. The transmission is the 700R4 Automatic and it is
also a Jasper Rebuild with around 6,000 miles on it. We did not
receive the receipt but it has the Jasper Tags and it is also
documented on the Carfax. It shifts nice and it is mated to the
np241c transfer case. The 4WD works like it should. The rear axle
is a Corporate 10 Bolt with a Limited Slip and 3.73 gears. The
front axle is is also a Corporate 10 Bolt with 3.73 gears. The
front axle recently had new ball joints installed. This is all
sitting on a newer set of Aluminum Wheels with some nice All
terrain tires. This is a great rig that is ready to go.
