The 1959 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz had a style and personality unto itself representing Detroit’s late-150s obsession with flamboyant design. This is the most luxurious Cadillac built, and sold originally for a whopping $7401 – a small fortune at the time!
This restored Eldorado originally was finished in paint code 20 ‘Brenton blue’ but has been refinished in bright red with a white power convertible top. Fender skirts and lots of factory chrome with the Biarritz package.
It is powered by a 390 cubic inch V8 engine with factory tri-power carburetors producing 345 horsepower, paired with a Hydramatic automatic transmission, and could propel this two and a half ton cruiser to 120 mph! Power steering, power brakes, full wheel covers and wide whitewall radials.
The interior features plush red leather upholstery, power seat, power windows, power locks, cruise control, air conditioning, Signal Seeking AM radio and E-Z eye glass.
This is one of only 1320 Eldorado Biarritz convertible sold in 1959, and this quintessential classic shows only 25,963 miles on the odometer. This is a very rare and extremely collectable Cadillac!
