I believe there were just under 200 ever built and only two or three in the US. This has become an award winning BMW, that was also featured in many hagerty events. It comes with all its documentation and an old CA title. This vehicle was owned by a gentleman in the Bay Area who owned a bakery. He would buy very special vehicles from his clients and store them in his backyard. He collected over 30 cars, one of them being this very rare BMW. It had been in his yard since the late 1970s-1980s. He passed away two years ago, and his girlfriend received his estate. We purchased the majority of his collection. The body is finished in a two tone blue and white. No previous accidents, but it does have some rust from sitting for all these years under a carport. It has very poor brakes that have not been addressed. It runs off a secondary gas tank we put in because we did not have time to clean its tank.
