Vehicle Description
2017 Chevrolet Suburban LT
The Chevrolet Suburban is a full-size SUV from Chevrolet. The name
started in 1934 for the 1935 U.S. model year, making it the longest
continuously used automobile nameplate in production. It has
traditionally been one of General Motors' most profitable vehicles.
The 1935 first generation Carryall Suburban was one of the first
production all-metal bodied station wagons. It now comes with three
engine options: a 5.3 liter V8, 6.2 liter V8 or a 3.0 liter
Inline-6 turbo diesel.
For consignment, a large Chevrolet Suburban from 2017 in LT package
form meaning it has heated leather seating, a load leveling system
and a towing package just to name a few of the amenities. Loaded
with more bells and whistles than most folks can even imagine, this
heavy-duty family hauler is ready to perform a full day at the
ranch then take you out for a night on the town, all the while
looking classy. It all looks good, drives good and is presently in
our South Mallway, waiting for you to take it home.
Exterior
Champagne Silver Metallic bathes all panels on this truck and shows
the flaws and faults one would expect for a 94,259 mile truck. It
has body matching neoprene front and rear bumpers, some chrome trim
accenting around the windows and covering the grille which hides
behind a protective Ranch Hand Chevy Legend Black grille guard.
Tinted glass is all around, and a large roof rack has been optioned
on. Shiny 20-inch 6 lug 5 spoke wheels are on all 4 corners and are
wrapped in like new Goodyear blackwall rubber. 4 doors and a rear
gate that can have just the tinted privacy glass opened, or go all
out and completely open with a fold down gate give plenty of access
to the cabin and storage rear of this long 4 door truck.
Interior
Nice heavily padded leather for the inserts along with molded gray
vinyl and even some dark walnut burl and several integrated buttons
in the armrest, lower map pocket and in front of the door actuator
make up the door panels. These are all very clean with no smudges
in sight. Inside, well kept tan leather seats with a broad tuck and
roll pattern covers the front buckets and second row 80/20 split
rear bench. A third-row smaller solid rear bench with the ability
to fold down for more cargo room is on the back. Seats are all in
very nice condition and have the ability to be configured in many
ways depending on your type of cargo/passengers you are planning on
carrying and the front buckets flank an expansive console. The
clean original dash is up front having a touch screen Bose
AM/FM/XM/Navi installed along with temp knobs and redundant dials
and push buttons below. Clean tan carpeting is below and protected
by Weathertech rubber floor mats and above is a nice felted tan
headliner complete with some overhead storage and extra AC/Heat for
the rear passengers mounted in the ceiling along with courtesy
lights and grab handles. Amenities in this hauler include, a full
gauge package, heater front leather bucket seats, power windows, 2
memory seat settings, digital climate control, a backup camera, and
shift on the fly dial actuated 4x4 engagement.
Drivetrain
All expertly detailed, and very clean and well maintained under the
hood. We see the original 5.3-liter V8 using EFI and capable of
making 355hp. Bolted to the back it has a 6L80E 6-speed automatic
on the back with 3.42 axles. All looking very nice and tidy under
this hood.
Undercarriage
As expected rust free and well-kept with the undercoated flooring
and black painted frame only showing slight areas of surface rust
and minor corrosion. Power disc brakes are on front, and more power
discs are reserved for the rear to bring all this mass to a safe
halt. Providing the smooth ride is an independent front suspension
that works with a 4 link and coil sprung rear suspension. Factory
single exhaust makes its long journey down from the mill and runs
rearward all the while still looking good.
Drive-Ability
A quick starter and good driver. with a comfy ride, smooth
acceleration and braking. All functions were working just
swimmingly and with all this room one could even stir up a mobile
party.
This Suburban "suburban" hauler can be configured in many ways,
making it a very versatile truck for multi uses and plenty of room.
All rust free, very clean interior, and mechanically sound engine
and drivetrain with more bells and whistles than an entire bell and
whistle marking band. A nice example, turn the key and go and haul
anything you desire.
