1500 extended cab Z-71. This truck is dressed in it's original
factory two-tone color scheme of black and gold accented by a
gorgeous chrome grill and bright body strip molding. A walk around
the Silverado reveals two front tow hooks, a chrome rear step
bumper, a factory bed liner, an aftermarket bed floor protective
liner (to keep the original liner looking nice), deep tinted
windows, a tow hitch (max. tow rating of 5,500 lbs.), and factory
cast aluminum wheels wrapped in newer Continental Terrain Contact
tires. Of course, you can't miss the distinctive Z-71 badging
showing this truck has the optional off-road chassis equipment and
4-wheel drive. Lift the hood to reveal a strong running 5.7 liter
V-8 mated to a 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission with
push-button "Insta-trac" 4-wheel drive. The transmission was
replaced by a remanufactured one just a thousand miles ago and it
shifts smoothly with no issues in either 2 or 4-wheel drive mode.
The rear end features positraction and a 3:42 gear ratio. Braking
power is provided by discs in the front, drums in the rear, and a
4-wheel ABS system. Use one of the two key fobs to unlock the
driver's door and step into an exceptionally clean original beige
interior. From the comfortable cloth 6-way power driver's seat, you
will find interior amenities everywhere you look. This highly
optioned truck features a leather-wrapped steering wheel with tilt
column, cruise control, intermittent wipers, power mirrors, power
windows, power locks, power steering, cold A/C, dual cup holders,
AM/FM/Cassette/CD stereo, adjustable shoulder safety belts, center
console, flip-down armrests, ceiling map lights and storage,
fold-down rear seat, color-keyed floor mats, and driver passenger
airbags. This truck is just loaded with options! The CarFax shows
an accident with "functional damage reported" in 2001 and we have
the receipt from the dealership for a minimal $1,900 in repairs.
This Silverado comes with some very cool extras including the
original window sticker, build sheet, sales brochure, owner's
