Only 1,150 miles on a meticulous body off frame restoration. This
car is hot! You need to see in person to appreciate how it's a step
above. The detail is there. Exciting colors, wheels and rumble from
the side exhaust. Keep in mind it is still a #s matching 350 hp,
4-speed yellow car, documented with original invoice. The
modifications were very tastefully done.
EXTERIOR: Amazing fit and finish, better than new. The body is
mint, no damage and the gaps are precise. The Daytona Yellow paint
is like yellow glass. Upfront all the chrome fits nice. It all
looks new- chrome, grills, lenses. Same thing in back- chrome and
lenses look new. Nee correct antenna, luggage rack, door handles,
rocker trim, emblems etc. The stainless trim around the windshield
is polished. 16 inch chrome rally wheels really stand out, each one
is wrapped in BFG G-Force tires. OK, the best for last- chrome
factory style side exhaust looks and sounds amazing! Black
convertible top is restored-painted frame, new rubber.
INTERIOR: Meticulously restored. Not only the big items but the
little bits and pieces look new. Recushioned seats, genuine leather
upholstery. Dash pad, gauges, knobs, vents are mint. A retro stereo
fits in the factory hole, has auxiliary plug. The console is mint
including heater controls, correct reverse lockout shifter and it
now has woodgrain trim. Tilt-telescopic column with a real wood
wheel. Carpet front to back was replaced, reproduction floor
mats.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: #s matching 350-350 hp motor. It was completely
rebuilt and upgraded with aluminum heads, roller cam. Powder coated
aluminum intake, dual feed Holley carb, finned valve covers and
coated exhaust manifolds. Aluminum water pump and radiator,
electric fan. Billet pulleys, Wilwood master cylinder. Every
component looks new. Everything is neatly installed. It features
power steering and brakes.
UNDERSIDE: The body was off the frame for a complete restoration.
The chassis was disassembled, rebuilt and detailed. It even has
correct assembly line markings. It has independent suspension front
and back. The steering and suspension components were replaced
including the springs, bushings, balljoints, shocks, tie rods etc.
Upgraded fiberglass rear leaf spring. The brake system was
completely restored. It has disc at all 4 wheels. Lines and hoses
were replaced, e-brake assembly looks new. Looking up at the motor
it is spotless, upgraded with a high torque starter. The correct
Muncie 4-speed delivers power to the posi rear. The spare tire
carrier looks like new.
This isn't like the others. I look at enough to know what an
exceptional car is, this is one of them! Not only is it super nice,
it's exciting!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for
virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant
amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my
professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to
assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are
answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video
that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are
displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car make an
appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment
there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car,
your admission will be refunded and you will be given a 1 year
membership.
