The Bentley Continental GT is a beautifully styled grand tourer produced by the British automaker since 2003. The model was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show with great fanfare, followed by Le Mans, the 2003 Goodwood Festival of Speed and then the 2003 annual Bentley Drivers Club meet at Silverstone in the U.K.
The car differed considerably from the previous Continental R and Continental T models in terms of its concept. And although much of the car was hand-built, it was mass-produced.
This model was exposed to a much wider audience and customer base, touted as a more affordable car for the social set. The Continental GT was regarded as a wonderful machine and, in turn, became a status symbol that strongly contributed to turning Bentley into a global brand.
This Bentley Continental GT is powerfully driven by 5,998 cu in DOHC 48 valve W2 twin turbochargers. All that speed is controlled by a 6-speed automatic transmission with manual paddle shift, full-time all-wheel drive, 4-wheel independent air suspension and 4-wheel power ventilated antilock disc brakes.
It reportedly will do 0 to 60 mph in just 4 seconds.
Presented in a stunning color combination of Dark Sapphire Blue with a Magnolia leather interior, the exterior is immaculate and just received a ceramic coating.
The special-order chrome wheels show no signs of curb rash, and four new Bridgestone radials were recently added, covering barely 1,200 miles.
Obviously well-crafted, the GT is not only stylish and sporty in appearance but also features all the posh amenities and conveniences that owners desire when committing to such a machine. All “must have” options are found on board in the beautifully trimmed cabin, such as the impeccable leather interior and the lovely woodwork accents that are one of the Bentley trademarks.
As noted in our photo gallery, there are Bentley logo mats on top of the factory-installed mats. Two new batteries were installed in August 2022, and all original owner’s books and manuals come with the car. A clean Carfax report is also available upon request.
A fine complement to sporting Bentleys in a new owner’s garage, this Continental GT marks the important milestone of Bentley’s return of the high-performance car.
